Introduction: The Fashion Umbrella Foundation ("the Foundation") values capturing the moments and memories created during our events, including fundraisers and program-focused events. We believe that sharing these moments through photographs and videos enhances our mission of promoting education, creativity, and community engagement. This Photo and Video Release Policy outlines the Foundation's guidelines regarding using images captured during our events for marketing purposes.
Scope: This policy applies to all individuals attending Foundation events, whether free or paid, and includes participants, volunteers, staff, and other attendees. All individuals agree to adhere to this policy by attending a Foundation event.
PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE:
Consent: By attending a Fashion Umbrella Foundation event, individuals grant the Foundation and its authorized representatives the right to take photographs and videos of them. These images may be used for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, print materials, and press releases.
No Compensation: Individuals understand and agree that no compensation will be rendered for using these images.
Ownership: All photographs and videos taken by the Foundation or its authorized representatives at events are the property of the Fashion Umbrella Foundation.
Objection to Use: If any individual attending a Foundation event objects to using their image for marketing and promotional purposes, they must notify the Foundation in writing. The Foundation will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests, although it cannot guarantee the complete removal of previously published materials.

SMALL BUSINESS EVENT POLICY:
Payment and Fees: All fees and payments for small business (vendor) spaces at any event facilitated by Fashion Umbrella Foundation are due in full upon confirmation of participation. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Vendor Responsibilities: Small Businesses are expected to actively engage with attendees and participants of events facilitated by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation. Interaction can include but is not limited to product demonstrations, informational sessions, and engagement in Q&A sessions.
Vendor Space Allocation: The Small Business space assignments are at the discretion of the Fashion Umbrella Foundation organizers. Requests for specific locations or setups will be considered but are not guaranteed.
Setup and Operation: The Small Business is responsible for its setup, including tables, displays, and signage. Setup times and guidelines will be provided closer to the event date.
Products and Services: The Small Business must ensure that all products and services offered are appropriate for the fashion event setting and comply with local regulations.
Liability and Insurance: The Fashion Umbrella Foundation and its affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to vendors, their employees, or their property during the event. Vendors are advised to carry appropriate insurance coverage for their products, equipment, and operations.
Compliance: A Small Business must comply with all event rules, regulations, and guidelines provided by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation organizers.
Termination of Participation: Baltimore Fashion Week reserves the right to terminate a vendor's participation at any time for failure to comply with event policies or for any other reasonable cause determined by event organizers.
Changes and Amendments: The Fashion Umbrella Foundation and its organizers reserve the right to amend or update event policies as necessary. Updated policies will be communicated to Small Businesses promptly.
By participating as a vendor at an event facilitated by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation, you agree to abide by the above policies and guidelines. Your cooperation ensures a successful and impactful event experience, fostering meaningful engagement with attendees and participants of the Fashion Umbrella Foundation's events.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
Arrival: Participants must arrive on time. Late arrivals will not be permitted entry once the workshop or course has begun.
Attendance: No make-up sessions will be offered for missed workshops or courses.
Behavior: Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times.
Participants: All participants must register for scheduled professional development courses in advance. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment
Registration Fees: All registration fees must be paid in full before the professional development course begins. If a deposit is processed, the balance of the registration must be paid before entry is granted into the course.
Payments: Payments are accepted through the registration platform SimpleTix. The Fashion Umbrella Foundation does not accept CashApp or Zelle for its professional development courses. When payment is made a receipt will be sent to the recipient’s inbox acknowledging the payment of the deposit or the full class payment. All payments must be made before the course cut-off date. Once registration has closed no additional registrations will be accepted.
Refunds: Refunds are non-refundable. In the case of a no-show, the registrant’s registration fee will be honored at the next scheduled “same-titled” course. The refund is not transferrable to another course. The transfer will only be valid on the “same-titled” course and for one year.
Communication: Communication for Professional Development courses is by email. The email address the Fashion Umbrella will use is pd@fashionumbrella.org.

EMAIL SUBSCRIPTION POLICY
By registering for or purchasing a ticket to any event hosted by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation, including all its programs and fundraisers, you agree to be added to the Fashion Umbrella Foundation Email Subscriber list. This subscription allows the Foundation to send you marketing materials and updates directly to your email.
Please note that the Fashion Umbrella Foundation values your privacy and does not share or sell your information to any third-party organizations or entities. The Foundation will only use your email address for communication-related to our events and initiatives.

REFUND POLICY
The Fashion Umbrella Foundation does not offer refunds for its programs, courses, or fundraisers/events. If after a ticket is purchased and the guest does not attend the program, course, or event at the designated date and time, the funds will not be refunded but accepted as a donation to the Fashion Umbrella Foundation and the funds will be allocated to the proper program or fundraising cause.
If a tax-deductible receipt is required, the purchaser must request the receipt by email. Send the request for the tax-deductible receipt to info@fashionumbrella.org for processing.
